First off, special thank-you to our students who have resumed their lessons, either online, or in-studio. We truly appreciate it. It has helped us stay afloat as a business and importantly helped us to be able to maintain the livelihood of our staff.
Our online offerings continue to grow, and this will be an ongoing feature of our dance studio in the future. We now include options for group lessons, private lessons, coaching, and resources for self-learning and practicing. Let us know how we are doing with these and how we can do better. Is there something we are missing? Are there ways we can make learning at home even better? We appreciate your feedback. As a student myself, I have personally taken advantage of this option and find it helpful. Not just to maintain my dancing, and protect my investment in dancing, but also to stay active when at home.
For those of you who have made it to the studio, you will notice that we have made many changes to studio operations. Now you can pre-register and pay for group lessons and socials online. And of course, with less furniture, new cleaning stations, etc., the studio even looks different. Masks are required, so if you choose the in studio option, you will have to be okay with that. We have been told by some that we have taken things to an extreme, but we will take that as a compliment. The safety of student and staff are paramount to us, and we want folks to feel safe if they do choose to come to the studio. Again, we are happy to take your ideas on how to make your DanceSportVA experience as wonderful as possible.
Finally, we have a new website to incorporate these changes and facilitate online learning. Including this forum where you can share your thoughts and ideas.
