Apparently, there is a crusade against businesses that comply with government directives such as mask wearing. The idea is to ‘punish’ the business by giving bad reviews to any business that complies.
It is truly sad when politics enters the dance floor. Sadder still when it is misdirected.
We have truly worked hard to both comply with the requirements of government and to continue to provide the best dancing experience we can under these trying circumstances. We are not a big National chain that can more easily absorb losses. We are a small ‘mom and pop’ local, veteran owned business, caught between government directives and these unhappy people.
Failure to abide these directives can mean loss of business and alcohol licenses and fines up to $25,000 just to get that licenses back. Not to mention civil and criminal penalties. It’s not a choice for businesses or for their employees. We are working, trying to earn a living and get by. Sadly, many businesses will not win that battle and will be forced to close their doors.
We are not a mission essential business (although for those like us who love dancing might disagree). But we are trying to provide a fun and safe service for those able to and desiring to participate. We will continue to enforce mask wearing and other requirements. We certainly understand that you may not want or even be able to participate in these activities under those restrictions. We look forward to providing these services to you after this situation is over. For those who can participate and feel safe doing so with the efforts we have made, we welcome to our studio. Let’s have fun and leave all the drama at the door.
