MATT'S STORY
More About Matt Kasturas
Matt was raised in West Milford, New Jersey, and began dancing in 2013 on the ballroom team at the George Washington University. In his four years there he competed at various events including DC Dancesport Inferno in College Park, MD, the MIT Open in Cambridge, MA, and the Ohio Star Ball in Columbus, OH.
After a four year hiatus from dancing, Matt moved to Virginia Beach and walked into DancesportVA for a Friday night social, where he quickly found his home away from home. Since joining the DancesportVA community, Matt has competed at Dancing With Friends in Churchville, MD, Dance Masters in Richmond, VA, and DancesportVA’s own Virginia Beach Dance Challenge. He has also performed in three DancesportVA showcases.
Besides English, Matt has a conversational proficiency in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese
